Visit to Bidford upon Avon
Three of us went out for a painting day at Bidford upon Avon, setting out quite early and getting there at around 10.15am.
We walked round and ‘checked the view’ and then decided to settle down and paint a view of the river running under the bridge. The weather was a bit cloudy to start with and then it brightened up as the day went on.
We took a packed lunch with us, and then we resumed for a couple of hours in the afternoon, painting away until about 3.00pm when we called it a day.
Various people stopped to look at our work and this gave us an opportunity for a chat about our paintings during the day. We all decided that this was a good venue and well worth another visit in the future.
